Stone Cow Brewery: A Rustic Brewery Experience in Barre, MA

We stumbled across this brewery while exploring the beautiful countryside and were incredibly impressed by the property, the beer, and the food! It's a beautiful location complete with panoramic views of the surrounding hills. The barn has a great, rustic charm and has plenty of seating both inside and out. The beer selection is great, with a wide variety of beers including a ton of great IPAs. The food selection is good as well. My wife and I shared a pizza which was more than enough food for two people. They have some playground equipment for kids as well. They also have a cute little country store that sells local items. Overall, I highly recommend checking out this brewery if you're in the area!

Cool. It's a farm with a rustic concept. The place was busy and service was friendly and fast. Lots of place for parking, beutifull outdoor space. October fast was delicious and cold, my girlfriend had the pumpkin with a perfect cinnamon sugar rim and she enjoyed it as well. It's worth your time, they had a live band, energy was up and everyone was happy. I'm definitely coming back and I highly recomend them.

I come to Stone Cow several times in the summer for their outdoor BBQ…the grass-fed burgers are great and so are their fries! Ice cream is good too. Good spot for families but can get very busy especially if they’re having a weekend event. They usually have barn animals like pigs and cows that people can pet/feed which is cute in theory. But then you wonder whether they slaughter them which doesn’t feel great after you’ve just eaten a burger…?

Love the rustic vibes of a farmhouse setting. It’s located at the popular scenic Route 122 towards Western Massachusetts. Good for adults to hangout or family spending the afternoon at the open grass field. I didn’t get any food nor beer, only had a milkshake from the ice-cream booth, thick and tasty. Plenty of outdoor parking spaces. Definitely worth to come back to try their food.

Great place, setting is in a farm with vast fields in clear view. As the summer winds down, you find yourself wearing a flannel on a crisp day. At Stone Cow, enjoy a great variety of beers via flights and at times the bbq fire pit food. Both of these make an awesome combination, to have a relaxing weekend. Plenty of parking, and tables both inside and out. Great place to stop in,

As a family with young kids, finding a brewery where everyone can have a good time can be a challenge. Stone Cow Brewery absolutely nailed it! The setting on a beutiful farm with so much open space is perfect. The hamburgers are delicious!

Really nice large brewery with food options. Went here with a large group of friends and the place was absolutely packed. Tons of seating here and the line moved quickly. Only thing to note is food stops 1 hr before closing at 8 so you must get there early. Overall experience was very nice. Enjoyed beer, grilled cheese, pulled pork, burgers, and more. Really loved my grilled cheese and great portion sizes. Recommend

Overall, I’m incredibly pleased with my experience! In a very accessible location with ample parking, I was impressed with the esthetic and authentic design. Well organized, spacious seating, and open for families of all sizes, I really do endorse checking this brewery out in person. For anyone interested in craft beer, solid entertainment, and a quality customer service, this is the place to be!
